When you sign up, we collect the parent/guardian's name and email address, and the details you give us about your child (first name, age range, favourite characters, themes, and any notes you add) so we can personalise their nightly stories. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children — all information is provided by the parent or guardian creating the account.
We use this information only to generate and deliver your child's personalised bedtime stories by email, to run your account (sign-in, story archive, profile updates), and to send you occasional emails about your MyDreamTales subscription. We do not sell your data or your child's information to third parties, and we do not use it to serve ads.
We use a small number of service providers to run MyDreamTales: Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic and Google (AI story and image generation), and Google Sheets (our subscriber database). Each only receives the information needed to perform its function.
You can update or delete your child's profile details anytime from your account page, and cancel your subscription anytime from the billing portal linked there. To request full deletion of your data, or to stop receiving emails, contact hello@mydreamtales.com and we'll action it promptly.
